Tal’o le se amona mi bi Re?
N’nu ‘banuje at’ayo ba mi gbe

Ibi ko wuwo, ekun ko koro,
oro iku da? ‚segun isa da?
Un o segun sibe, b’iwo ba mi gbe.

Se ‘mole mi, si toka si orun
B’aye ti nkoja, k’ile orun mo
Ni yiye, ni kiku, wa ba mi gbe. Amin.

ABIDE WITH ME FAST FALLS THE EVENTIDE

Abide with me - fast fall the even tide,

The darkness deepens- Lord, with me abide;

When other helper fail and comforts flee,

Help of the helpless, O abide with me,

Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day,

Earth's joy grow dim, it's glories pass away;

Change and decay in all around I see

O Thou who changes! not, abide with me!

I need Thy presence every passing hour -

What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power,?

Who like Thy - self my guide and stay can be?

Through cloud and sunshine, O abide with me!

Hold Thou Thy word before my closing eyes,

Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies;

Heavens morning breaks and earth's vain flee-

In life, In death, 0 Lord, abide with me!
